Na poziomie bazy danych możecie zaimportować etykiety ze starszych wersji, tylko dane dla utworów w kolekcji zostaną pobrane. Dodaliśmy różne możliwości filtrowania dla podcastów (źródło, grupa folderów) i Przeglądarki Kolekcji (ostatnio odtwarzane, dodane, typ, rozmiar pliku) oraz dodaliśmy i poprawiliśmy kilka skrótów.

Zobaczcie kompletną listę zmian poniżej i przetestujcie wszystko co możecie. Pomóżcie usprawnić Amaroka, napiszcie co znaleźliście i dajcie trochę z siebie, aby sprawić że Amarok będzie jeszcze lepszy!

We are happy to announce the release of Amarok 2.3.1.

This release brings with it some exciting new features like the Automated Playlist Generator which helps you create playlists based on criteria like song length or file size. This is the start of bringing back the smart playlist feature of Amarok 1 and more.
We have also added two new applets for the Context View. The Upcoming Events applet shows concerts and events that the currently playing artist is participating in and the Similar Artists applet uses the Last.fm database to show similar artist and makes the ones in your collection directly playable.
Cover fetching has seen a lot of improvements and we added support for the new system tray protocol.

The 2.3.1 release also fixes many bugs, both major and minor, and brings with it many other small improvements that overall help to make the Amarok experience even more enjoyable!

Some of the coding on Amarok 2.3.1 was done in the beautiful town of Randa in Switzerland and on the way to and from there. We've had a very enjoyable sprint together with the KDE Edu team there. Check out the wiki page for links to blog entries and pictures.

Continuing with our rapid development process, only a few weeks after the successful 2.3.0 release we present Amarok 2.3.1 beta 1. Not only does this release provide many bug fixes, but we even added a number of exciting new features, such as the powerful Automated Playlist Generator, a Similar Artists and Upcoming Events applet, and support for the new system tray of KDE SC 4.4. Additionally a lot of performance optimization was done in several areas. The Playlist became significantly faster, especially with filtering a large amount of items. Also, cover image fetching was enhanced and is now more reliable and effective.

We encourage our users to test this release and provide feedback. The usual warnings apply: this is a beta release and there can be rough corners. However, overall it is quite usable, and your feedback can help us making an even better 2.3.1 release :)
